Abstract

|
From the fusion of the murine myeloma NS-1 with spleen cells from the mice
immunized with the human gastric carcinoma cell, hybridomas producing antibodies were
obtained. Immunofluorescent and immunoperoxidase microscopy showed that the
hybridomas clone secreted antibodies specifically bound to not only free human gastric
carcinoma cells either grown in culture or obtained from patients but also the malignant
cells of paraffine-embedded human gastric carcinoma mass.
